Grandma and Grandpa Stoddard

 Who was your favorite teacher?
 My favorite teacher was Mrs. Saruey. She was my 3rd grade teacher. She always made me feel important and she truly cared about me. She also gave me a kitten.

Who was your first date? Where did you go?
My first date was with Ralph Miller. I saw him at church when I went to church with my nephew. I think our first date was going rollerskating.- Grandma S


How did you spend your first paycheck?
 I'm not sure but I think I had my eyes checked and bought contacts.-Grandma S


Describe your first Job
My first job was when I was a senior in high school. We had release time during school to get training and work a job. I worked for shoe store on main street of Rexburg. I worked got paid and also was graded on my job performance. I guess that is where I found my love of shoes.- Grandma S

What was your favorite subject in school? Why?
My favorite subject in school was English. I loved sentence structure and  breaking down a sentence. I loved spelling and was pretty good at it especially in grade school. I also loved art classes. In high school I took a clay pottery class that I loved. We actually used a pottery wheel which was way fun. My teacher was a lot of fun and let us create what ever we wanted. I loved to draw, paint with acrylic paints, and wood carvings.- Grandma S

What is your earliest memory?
My first memory I can think of is going to Kennedy Elementary in the first grade. I didn't go to kindergarten so this was my first experience of school. My teacher was Mrs. Cook. She was an older women and very strict. loved school and to listen to the stories she would read to us.- Grandma S
